Walmart is selling a $223 cordless air pump for $129 that can fill a tire ‘from flat to full’ in just four minutes

This tire inflator comes with two 4Ah batteries for nearly half the price of its competitors.

A portable air compressor is one of those automotive peripherals everyone should have in their car. While you could pick up a DeWalt 20V Max tire inflator for $132 , OEM batteries are sold separately and cost nearly as much as the pump itself . The Hart 20V dual function inflator , on the other hand, comes with a pair of batteries for $129 during this limited-time sale — 42% off the sticker price of $223.

In fact, you would be hard pressed to find anything in this price range with batteries included. The Milwaukee 2848-20 M18 , for instance, is limited to a less capable 18-volt system and lacks a battery out of the box. Even on sale, it’s priced higher than the Hart model. Plus you’re looking at $94 for a single OEM battery . Although Milwaukee’s 8Ah pack offers twice the capacity of Hart’s, I’d prefer the two 4Ah blocks since you can use one while the other is charging.

As with all digital air compressors, Hart’s tire pump automatically shuts off as soon as it reaches your selected PSI target. What’s more, when connected to the valve stem, it measures the current air pressure then reports back on a digital display. That means you can ditch your standalone tire pressure gauge altogether and streamline the process of filling your tires, whether you’re topping them off or starting from zero.

A compressor hose, pressure tip, bike valve adapter, ball needle, mattress hose and pinch valve nozzle also come in the Hart 20V dual function inflator bundle. The manufacturer says it takes less than 45 seconds to fill a twin-sized air mattress or no more than four minutes to fill a tire from flat to full. The built-in LED light improves visibility while operating the device as well as signaling an emergency to other drivers on the road.

As partial as I am to my DeWalt compressor , I won’t deny that Hart’s 20V inflator is the better value at $129, if only for the batteries it throws in. Its 4Ah (or 4,000mAh) packs are closer to DeWalt’s 5Ah (5,000mAh) capacity than other inflators sold at a similar price. And, should you run into any problems, Hart has you covered with three years of limited warranty support. All things considered, it’s kind of a no-brainer if you don’t own a portable tire inflator of this caliber.
