As they’ve gotten more capable in recent years, battery-powered outdoor tools have become the go-to option for homeowners looking to simplify yard work without dealing with gas, oil, or constant maintenance. Whether you’re trimming hedges, edging your lawn, or clearing leaves, having a reliable battery on hand is key to keeping everything running smoothly. As spring cleanup gets underway and yard work ramps up, adding an extra battery to your setup can make a big difference in both convenience and productivity.
Right now, in the waning hours of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, the Greenworks 40V 2.0Ah Battery is down to $49 from its usual $130 price tag. This is a limited-time deal, making it a great opportunity to stock up before peak yard season hits. Designed for the Greenworks Gmax 40V system, this 2.0Ah battery delivers consistent power across a wide range of tools, from lawn mowers and leaf blowers to trimmers and hedge cutters, all while offering a simple snap-in design for quick swaps.
62% OffIt offers fade-free power throughout its entire run cycle, meaning your tools won’t lose strength as the battery drains. With a fast charge time of around 60 minutes using a rapid charger (which is sold separately), you can get back to work quickly without long delays. The built-in battery management system adds protection against overheating, overcharging, and other potential issues, helping extend overall battery life. Plus, with compatibility across more than 75 Greenworks tools, it’s a versatile battery no matter if you’re expanding your setup or replacing an older pack.
One user commented, “We have a Greenworks pole saw, leaf blower, edger, and hedge trimmer, so we depend on these batteries, which we have found to be reliable. We have two of these batteries, so if one runs out of charge, we have another one ready to go, and it has come in handy.”
Another reviewer kept it short and sweet, saying, “[It’s a] quiet, powerful, long-lasting battery.”
