A portable power station can be useful in a lot of different situations, from planned outdoor trips to unexpected power outages. It can keep phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, drones, lights, and other essentials running when you’re camping, working in the yard, or spending time in a shed. It’s also a smart emergency item to keep around for storms and blackouts, especially if you want backup power without relying on a gas generator for smaller electronics. Thanks to a limited-time flash deal at Walmart, you can get the Goosiay 300W Portable Power Station on sale for just $153.
The power station usually costs $500, making this a huge discount on a compact battery backup with a 296Wh capacity and 300W total AC output. It has two AC outlets, a 60W USB-C PD port, one USB QC3.0 fast charge port, two USB-A ports, one 12-volt car port, and two DC outputs, giving you nine ports total for charging multiple devices at once. It also has a built-in 500 lumen LED flashlight with medium, strong, and SOS modes.
The key thing to know is that this is built for smaller electronics and essentials, not high-power appliances. It can support devices under 300W, including laptops, phones, tablets, cameras, drones, LED lights, CPAP machines, and mini fridges, but it won’t run things like heaters, toasters, kettles, blenders, hair dryers, or coffee makers. We recommend using this for weekend trips, since a smaller power station can make camping or RV travel feel a lot more comfortable while still staying quiet and fuel free.
The pure sine wave AC outlet is useful for more sensitive electronics, while the LCD display lets you monitor battery level and remaining runtime. It’s also compatible with 60W to 100W solar panels, though the panel is sold separately.
This may not be the right choice if you need whole-home backup power, but for camping, emergencies, garage projects, yard work, shed use, and keeping essential devices charged during an outage, it offers a lot of flexibility for $153.
One reviewer said, “It’s easy to use, the LED is super bright, and it charges really fast.”
“This portable power station is awesome,” said a second happy shopper. “It charges very fast and you can charge up to 9 different things at a time.”
