Squeezing tools into tight spaces comes with the territory while maintaining, repairing, and upgrading vehicles. Trying to use traditional wrenches to tackle these tasks can make it almost impossible to complete some of them, and it can also leave your knuckles looking gnarly. Amazon can help you combat these common problems by offering a great deal on a ratcheting wrench set that is a must-have for both professionals and DIYers.
The Gearwrench 20-Piece Ratcheting Wrench Set typically retails for $140, but Amazon is currently selling it for just $96. Consider investing in it if you routinely struggle to reach nuts and bolts with standard wrenches while working on cars, trucks, and SUVs.
This high-end set includes 20 ratcheting combination wrenches in SAE sizes (1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4-inch) and metric sizes (6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18-millimeter). Each one is equipped with a 72-tooth ratcheting box end that offers a 5-degree arc swing, as opposed to the 30-degree arc swing provided by regular wrenches. They also boast much thinner heads and beams than regular wrenches, giving you improved access to confined areas, and an off-corner loading design that delivers better grip on fasteners and prevents rounding.
Additionally, the ratcheting combination wrenches in this durable set are constructed from alloy steel, making them stronger and longer-lasting than other wrenches. They also feature a polished finish to ensure they look every bit as good as they perform.
“This set is impressive,” one reviewer wrote. “The wrenches are sturdy and have a high-quality finish. I have used them a lot already, and they seem to be very well-built.”
“Definitely worth buying,” another reviewer added. “It’s an extremely versatile wrench set. The tools are tough and work great in many locations.”
