An electric trike can be a lot easier to live with than a regular electric bike, especially for riders who want more stability and a lower-effort ride. The three-wheel setup makes it easier to get on, ride, and step off without balancing the same way you would on a standard two-wheel e-bike. That can be helpful for seniors, adults who want a more relaxed ride, kids just getting into it, or anyone who likes the idea of electric assist but wants something steadier for errands, neighborhood cruising, bike paths, and warm-weather rides.
The Elecby Electric Tricycle is on sale at Walmart for $650, down from its usual $1,095 price. It has a 750W motor, a removable 48V 10.4Ah battery, and a range of up to 55 miles on a single charge. It can reach speeds of 18 MPH, with three riding modes: pedal, pedal assist, and throttle. That gives you the option to get some exercise, let the motor help on longer rides, or use throttle power whenever you want an easier cruise.
41% OffAs a tricycle, the comfort, practicality, and versatility are the biggest selling points here. The trike has a low step-through frame, 18-inch tires, front suspension, rear differential, padded seat with backrest, adjustable seat height, disc brakes, fenders, digital display, and a 350-pound listed weight capacity. The front and rear baskets, rear cargo rack, and included accessories also make it useful for grocery runs, small shopping trips, carrying bags, or bringing along everyday items. It can even fold for more compact storage or transport.
Built for summer errands, trail rides, campground cruising, and saving gas on short trips around town, this is an easy-riding alternative to a regular e-bike.
“I absolutely love this trike,” said one happy buyer. “It’s great for shopping and just cruising the bike trails. I’m absolutely loving the freedom and fun this trike offers.”
Another reviewer commented, “This is a great bike for errands or for riding for enjoyment.”
