If you work as a mechanic, a handyperson, or a construction worker, there is certainly nothing wrong with splurging on high-quality work lights from top-notch tool brands like DeWalt or Milwaukee. But if you aren’t planning to use a work light for professional purposes — or, quite frankly, if you just don’t feel like spending a small fortune on one — you’re welcome to explore some more affordable options.
The Dfvpro Multipurpose LED Work Lamp is a terrific option to consider, as it can help you illuminate a car’s engine bay or the darkest corners of a basement without forcing you to spend much on it at all. This work lamp typically retails for just $13 at Walmart, and it has now been marked down by over 50%, bringing its price down to only $6.
We know what you’re thinking: “There is no way a $6 work lamp could keep up with my lighting demands when I’m working on a car or a home improvement project.” But hear us out. Despite its price and relatively small stature — it’s only about 6.5 inches long — this work lamp has 23 reviews at Walmart, with all 23 reviewers giving it a 5-star rating, and it isn’t hard to see why.
This work lamp features a 170-lumen top LED flashlight and a 500-lumen front LED light, allowing you to use it in a variety of ways while you work. It also comes with a rechargeable 2000mAh battery that can keep its top light working for up to 4 hours and its main light for up to 3 hours, while taking only about 3.5 hours to recharge fully.
Additionally, this work lamp lets you use it without holding it in your hands, freeing you to focus on the tasks at hand. It has a 360-degree rotating magnetic swivel base that you can use to attach it to most metal surfaces, as well as a swivel hook for hanging. It also includes a belt clip to keep it easily accessible at all times.
“It’s a great work lamp,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s easy to grip for any sized hands, and I love its strong magnet attachment and hook that I can use to attach it to anything. I also like that you have a front spotlight and a smaller light for more detailed work.”
“This is such a handy little light for at home, at work, and in the car,” another shopper added. “It’s powerful and bright, and you can use it as a flashlight or spotlight.”
