DeWalt Level 1 & 2 Portable EV Charger $230 (was $500) at Amazon

First up is the simplest solution, which we’re told is usually the best. DeWalt’s 16-amp portable charger supports Level 1 and Level 2 charging using an SAE J1772 connector. That means it’s natively compatible with just about any EV outside of Tesla and a handful of newer models from select brands that recently made the switch to Tesla’s NACS standard. For those folks, DeWalt sells a J1772-to-NACS adapter , though you might already have one.

By default, the Level 1 & 2 charger plugs into a NEMA 6-20 (aka 240V) outlet, making it ideal for home garages already equipped for Level 2 charging. While it doesn’t offer the quickest charge at just 3.84 kW, many plug-in hybrids max out at or around that rate of power delivery.

What distinguishes this portable charger from the rest of the lineup is the included NEMA 5-15 adapter that lets you plug your vehicle into a standard 120V outlet to trickle charge when you’re on the move.

DeWalt Pre-Wired Level 2 EV Charger $500 (was $599) at Amazon

For the serious EV owner whose vehicle supports a faster charge, DeWalt temporarily slashed prices to its stationary Level 2 chargers as well. Intended for fixed home or business use, these are DeWalt’s more advanced, app-compatible EV chargers, and both are currently $99 off, bringing your cost down 17% to $500 apiece.

The more accessible 40-amp version mounts to the wall, and supports charging speeds of up to 9.6 kW — or 36 miles of range per hour of charge. Best of all, it plugs into your existing 240V outlet should you have one installed.

“This electric car charger works exactly as expected and is backed by a reputable brand,” one shopper said. “It is a smart investment for electric car owners even if you have a charge station nearby.”

DeWalt Hardwired Level 2 EV Charger $500 (was $599) at Amazon

The48-amp hardwired variant may require a professional installation if your desired charging location isn’t already wired for 240V charging, but its superior 11.5 kW output can restore up to 46 miles of range to your vehicle per hour of charge.

“We did an extensive search for an EV Charger and eventually settled on this Level 2 by DeWalt because of its reputable name—and we have not been disappointed with our choice,” said one shopper. “The installation was a breeze (using a licensed electrician) and the charging experiences (for both our electric and hybrid vehicles) have been excellent so far!”

No matter which choice is right for you — portable , pre-wired , or hardwired — all three DeWalt EV chargers on sale at the moment can be used indoors or outdoors, thanks to their IP66 waterproof certification.

Each charger is armed with rugged protective housing, 10+ safety mechanisms to prevent electrical threats, and backed by a 3-year limited manufacturer warranty. Head to Amazon to grab these chargers on Amazon while they’re on sale.
