So much of modern life is worrying about charging, about plugging in your phone, tablet, computer, headphones, speakers, and even your car. And if you regularly work with power tools, this preoccupation with charging is even greater, as a dead tool battery can mean sitting around waiting for it to charge so you can get on with your work. A good charger is absolutely essential, and Amazon has a particularly versatile option at a particularly low price right now.
The DeWalt Battery Charger and USB Wall Charging Kit is on sale for $78, 21% off its list price of $99. It’s the rare charger that can charge both the big batteries that slot into power tools and all of the USB devices that round out the rest of our professional and personal lives.
Rare DealThis kit comes with a charger in DeWalt’s signature yellow, a 100-watt USB cord, a 65-watt power supply, and a removable belt hook that makes taking it on the go that much simpler, particular for those who are used to hauling cargo around their waist. The charger itself is compatible with DeWalt’s 20V Max batteries and the brand’s 20V/60V Max Flexvolt batteries. It also has a bi-directional USB-C power delivery port, so you can charge a DeWalt battery by running electricity through the cord from the power supply plugged into the wall and charge a USB device up to 100 watts on the go using the charge stored in the battery, all using the same port. Plus, it has a USB-A port for charging older devices up to 12 watts. All in all, it’s a clever, versatile charging solution.
The “quality of build is on point. It’s built tough!” wrote one shopper. Adding, “it’s compact enough to throw in my bag and when I’m in a pinch for power.”
Other customers called this kit “a game changer” of a tool that “has the DeWalt durability and will provide power at home, in the car, or on the job.” It provides “fast charging in a small package,” and “the combo of battery adapter and the USB-C charger is a huge winner for anyone in the DeWalt battery ecosystem.”
The DeWalt Battery Charger and USB Wall Charging Kit is a unique product, bringing together power tools and USB charging in one tough, compact device. Not everyone will find that compelling, but those who do will get a ton of utility out of this tool, more than justifying its discounted $78 price tag. If that sounds like you, pick one up ASAP, as this limited time deal could expire at any moment.
