Amazon has done more than just slash the prices of many of DeWalt’s best power tools in recent weeks. It has also marked down the prices of quite a few of its DeWalt impact driver and screwdriver bit sets, with some selling for well over 50% off their regular retail prices. Still, we should note that the retailer offers tons of great everyday prices on their bit sets as well, with some selling for much less than you might guess.
The DeWalt 40-Piece Impact Driver Bit Set is a wonderful example. This bit set has racked up over 41,000 five-star reviews and counting. It’s also a fairly comprehensive set that includes many useful bits, all packaged in a tough-as-nails case. Yet, you can buy it for just $22 today and every day at Amazon.
The bits in this set have found homes in a wide range of industries, with everyone from carpenters and auto repair technicians to electricians and plumbers routinely singing their praises. If you choose to join them, you will receive 25 1-inch screw bits and nine 2-1/4-inch screw bits, along with a socket adapter, a magnetic bit tip holder, a magnetic sleeve, a pair of nut drivers, and DeWalt’s patented Toughcase to keep everything well organized inside.
Each bit in this set features a CNC-machined tip, providing a more precise fit in screw heads. These bits also boast extended Flextorq zones, allowing them to transfer more torque without sustaining damage. Additionally, they’re impact-rated, which means you can use them with high-torque impact drivers without worrying about it at all.
Plus, DeWalt has incorporated its patented bit-bar design into this set, making it easy to access bits and quickly remove and replace them. This particular aspect has played a big part in it becoming a huge hit among mechanics.
“I’m a retired oil and gas industry mechanic and an at-home, Mr. Fix-It kind of a guy,” one reviewer wrote. “DeWalt always makes such great tools and accessories, and this quality set is no different.”
“These are the best impact driver bits I’ve come across,” another reviewer added. “Mine are used constantly, and I haven’t had any issues at all with them. After a year of hard use, completing mostly mechanical and carpentry jobs, I’ve yet to have a single bit get ruined.”
