From hedge trimmers to grilling gear to pool noodles, enjoying everything the backyard has to offer can require a ton of stuff. All of that stuff can clutter up your deck or patio, and leaving it in the elements is a sure way to ensure you’ll have to buy more stuff sooner than you’d like to. A hardy outdoor storage box can solve both problems — and provide some extra seating — and right now Walmart has a well-reviewed, weatherproof box discounted to half of it would normally run you.
The Devoko 105-Gallon Weatherproof Outdoor Storage Box is on sale for $63 at Walmart, 54% off its normal $135 price tag. That price is good on the black option; if a light brown, dark brown, or gray box would suit your exterior decor better you can get one for a few dollars more.
Top SellerResin is a waterproof, UV-resistant material, which is why it’s so commonly used in outdoor applications. It’s also easy to shape into decorative patterns like the rattan on the exterior of this box. Inside, you’ll notice that there’s a network of grids on the interior — along with the metal bar on the inside of the hinged lid — that adds strength and stability to entire structure, making it strong enough to hold up to 660 pounds. Rounding out the feature set are two handles that make moving this box easy, a hole in the lid designed to fit a padlock, and dual gas springs on the hinges for smooth opens and closes.
One shopper raved about how this box “went together quickly and easily and is very sturdy.” It’s also “weatherproof, and even here in rainy Oregon, my chair cushions inside stayed dry.”
Other customers agreed that this storage box is of “great quality,” is “very sturdy,” and offers a “great value,” particularly at this price. They also loved that it’s “attractive storage that doubles as seating.”
