Craftsman launched its new V20 advanced lineup of batteries back in the spring, and if you’re a Craftsman loyalist who hasn’t picked up anything from it yet, now is the time to do it. Amazon is currently selling a bunch of Craftsman advanced batteries and battery starter kits for well over 30% off.
The Craftsman V20 3Ah Advanced Battery Starter Kit, for example, is selling for 50% off its regular retail price at Amazon. The kit usually costs $139, but for a limited time, you can pick one up for only $70 and use it to provide power for all your Craftsman V20 tools.
When Craftsman introduced its new advanced batteries in May, it touted them as the “most powerful V20 batteries” ever released by the brand — and the one included in this kit certainly seems to live up to this billing. It’s designed to provide about 96% more power than previous Craftsman batteries, along with up to 50% more runtime, allowing you to tackle more tasks around the house before needing a recharge.
Both the battery and the charger are also equipped with convenient LED indicators, enabling you to keep a close eye on how much life you have left when you’re using a power tool or how much longer you’ll have to wait before you can begin using the battery. Plus, the battery contains technology that helps it run cooler than Craftsman batteries in the past, thereby preventing it from overheating.
And just in case you’re worried about compatibility issues, you won’t need to stress out over whether this battery and charger will work with your existing Craftsman power tools. They’re fully compatible with all V20 tools, chargers, and outdoor power equipment.
“It’s so compact, yet it truly packs a punch,” one reviewer wrote on Craftsman’s website. “It’s also fast-charging. I absolutely love my new Craftsman battery!”
“It’s yet another outstanding V20 battery for the Craftsman line,” another shopper added. “I have many of the products in the Craftsman V20 collection, including nearly all the battery options, and this one performs well.”
