There are plenty of exciting items on sale right now, from new grills to new tools, but some of the best Black Friday savings are on decidedly non-sexy items. One such example is a pair of brand name power tool batteries (and a charger!) that are $55 cheaper than usual.
The Craftsman V20 2Ah Batteries with Charger set is just $87, 39% off the $142 it’ll normally run you. You can also get the batteries without the charger for $70, an awesome 46% discount.
Craftsman V20 2Ah Batteries with Charger, $87 (was $142) at Amazon
These batteries have capacities of 2Ah, the smallest of any battery in the V20 product line, which has batteries as big as 9Ah. The advantage is that they’re also the lightest, just 0.77 pounds where that 9Ah model is 2.21 pounds. Each battery has a three-LED state of charge indicator for quick charge checks while in use. The charger has indicator lights for charging, charged, and temperature delay, the latter of which is part of the overload protection on the charger that increases the lifespan of the batteries. It’s also fast enough to charge these batteries in 60 minutes or less. Everything is compatible with the over 100 tools in the Craftsman’s V20 collection.
“This battery provides consistent and reliable power, giving my tools the energy they need to get the job done,” wrote one typically satisfied customer. “I appreciate how lightweight and compact it is, making it easy to handle during extended use without feeling too bulky.”
Another shopper wrote that these batteries are “good products” that “ran longer than expected in a hedger,” one of the more power-intensive tools in the V20 lineup.
A power tool charger and a pair of batteries for just $87 is a fabulous deal, and it’s unlikely that you’ll find a Craftsman V20 2Ah Batteries with Charger set for a lower price during the rest of the holiday season. So if you’ve got a solid collection of Craftsman tools or are working on building one, snag this set now in order to thank yourself later.
