Having already slashed the prices on its 10-piece, 20-piece, 71-piece, 159-piece, 256-piece, and 262-piece mechanics tool sets throughout the holiday season, it appears Craftsman is going to continue to craft new deals involving sets from its extensive lineup right through Christmas. Amazon just unveiled another option and is now offering a medium-sized mechanics tool set from Craftsman for over 40% off.
The Craftsman 81-Piece Mechanics Tool Set usually sells for $129 through the retailer. However, its price has been marked down to $73 for a limited time, giving you every incentive to either pick up this set for yourself or buy it to give to a tool enthusiast as a holiday gift.
While many of the other Craftsman mechanics tool sets that have gone on sale as of late have featured 72-tooth ratchets with 5-degree arc swings, this one has a 120-tooth ratchet with a 3-degree arc swing. These not-so-subtle differences allow this ratchet to squeeze into even the tightest spaces, which will come in handy for those interested in using it to work on cars. It also includes a complete set of metric and SAE sockets with large, easy-to-read markings, along with a pair of extension bars, a spark plug socket, a bit adapter, and other accessories, all packaged in a durable blow-molded case.
Additionally, each piece in this set boasts a gunmetal chrome finish that gives it a professional appearance while also making it rust-resistant and easy to clean. The result is one of the best-looking and most useful mechanics tool sets from Craftsman yet.
“This tool set is completely amazing,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s the perfect set to get any job done right.”
“What a fabulous tool set,” another shopper wrote. “It’s Craftsman, so the quality is built right in, ensuring this set does not disappoint.”
