If you need to tighten or loosen a single screw, you’re welcome to use a traditional screwdriver from this Craftsman 12-Piece Screwdriver Set to get the job done. But if you’re going to tighten or loosen a bunch of screws at once, especially those situated in hard-to-reach areas, a Craftsman ratcheting screwdriver set is a much better option. It will speed up the process while simultaneously giving your hands a break.
The Craftsman 44-Piece Ratcheting Screwdriver Set is one of the most complete sets that Craftsman offers, and it’s also one of its least expensive sets at the moment, thanks to a 36% discount currently available at Amazon. This set normally retails for $31, but for a limited time, you can purchase it for only $20. It’s a small price to pay for a set that reviewers have called a “real time saver,” given its ability to tighten and loosen screws quickly with minimal effort.
This ratcheting screwdriver set includes a magnetized bit holder at its center. It’s equipped with a ratcheting action that will allow you to tighten and loosen screws without having to constantly lift and reposition the bit holder, thus minimizing the time you spend tinkering with fasteners. This holder is also designed to work with all 40-plus bits in this set, as well as most other bits, so replacing any you lose won’t turn into a major issue.
Additionally, the bits themselves are built to make tightening and loosening screws a breeze. They feature special torque zones that will improve your grip on fasteners and designs that are tough enough for high-torque applications. Plus, everything comes packaged in a heavy-duty Versastack-compatible storage case that you can connect to other Craftsman cases to keep your bits secure and easy to transport.
“What an exceptional ratcheting screwdriver set,” one reviewer wrote. “It has quickly become a staple in my tool box, making various tasks much easier and more efficient.”
“It offers Craftsman quality,” another shopper added. “The bits are easy to change, the handle is easy to grip, and the storage case is a huge plus.”
