There are few items that are more useful for more people than a good flashlight. A bright light that you can carry with you is essential for everything from lighting a night hike to peering into the recesses of a car engine to finding the remote that fell behind the couch. Right now, a particularly good flashlight — one with over 2,700 five-star Amazon reviews — is on sale with a big discount.
The Bercol Rechargeable Flashlight is on sale for $18 at Amazon, 40% off its normal $30 price tag. It comes in a category standard black colorway and is powerful enough that there are several warnings on the product page about not shining it into anyone’s eyes.
40% OffThis aluminium flashlight has a P50 LED chip and a maximum output of 90,000 lumens, enough light to reach a point 3,280 feet away — that’s over half a mile! It’s powered by a 5,000-mAh battery that takes 4 to 6 hours to charge via USB-C and can last 8 to 12 hours, depending on which brightness setting you use. Speaking of settings, it offers high, medium, and low power with a moveable lens that can make this flashlight a spotlight or a floodlight. Additionally, it has strobe and SOS settings and IPX5 waterproof protection. It’s just under 7.5 inches long, a size that makes the extremely bright light it puts out seem all the more impressive.
One rancher wrote that “this is a great flashlight” because “the quality of the materials used is great.” This “bright, well-made flashlight” is well suited to corralling calves in the dark. “It’s easy to use and the zoom is snug enough that it doesn’t change without you changing it intentionally.”
Another shopper called it “absolutely the brightest flashlight I’ve ever seen.” It can “light up the woods that are hundreds of yards away,” plus the “battery life is great” and the “construction is solid.”
