As a heat wave rolls in, a portable fan that can provide a constant breeze goes from a novelty to a necessity. Right now, Walmart has a great option, a 5-speed fan with a beefy rechargeable battery and, for a limited time, what we can only call a massive discount.
The Atupen Portable Fan is on sale for $25 at Walmart, 79% off its normal $120 price tag. This price reflects both a generous discount on clearance and an extra $1.30 you can save by clipping the on-page coupon. It comes in one color, white, with gray, black, and orange details.
79% OffWhile ostensibly aimed at outdoorspeople, this fan is a godsend for anyone who has to set foot outside in sky high temperatures. Its high-performance motor powered by a 6,000mAh battery that recharges via USB-C. The motor and battery are housed in a compact unit — 3.35 inches wide, 2.70 inches deep, and 3.62 inches tall, that’s light enough to attach to a belt or bag using the integrated clip. The front of the fan features a most open front grill, that nevertheless keeps you from nipping your fingers on the blade, sitting above an LED digital display, single button, and onboard light.
The controls let you cycle between five different speed settings and the display shows how much juice is left in the battery. The light is a nice feature that doubles the functionality of this product after the sun sets. The fan-light combo is also eminently useful in garages and worksites without air conditioning, under the hood trying to peer into the recesses of a car engine, and on camping trips when a 2-in-1 device means less to pack and carry along with you.

While you might be sitting in air-conditioned comfort right now, every trip to the grocery store, school pick-up, or non-remote job means exposure to absolutely brutal summer temperatures. The Atupen Portable Fan is an easy way to rectify this problem, and for $25 it’s also a superb deal. Do yourself a favor and grab one before this deal blows away.
