No matter how careful you are to preserve your vehicle’s original paint, mistakes happen.. Eventually, taking your car out of the garage and driving it will cause oxidation. You might notice scratches or swirls at some point as well, and older halogen headlights tend to fog. That’s where the Atupen 27-piece cordless polisher comes in, and it’s currently on sale for $56 — a significant 60% discount off its original $140.
Atupen Cordless Buffer $56 (was $140) at Walmart
Equipped with two 12V lithium batteries — each with a 2,000mAh capacity — the buffer lasts up to 40 minutes on a single charge. Recharging the battery only takes about 90 minutes, so bigger jobs won’t have to wait too long. Since it has variable speed control, there are six different “gears” to choose from, with the top gear delivering the most power. Switching into that gear, however, does consume more energy, lowering the runtime to 25 minutes.
Still, its wide range of bundled attachments makes it easy to get the job done quickly and with ease. Along with the fuselage itself, the following are all included with your purchase:
- 10 x Sanding Papers
- 2 x Wave Sponges
- 2 x Microfiber Polishing Bonnets
- 2 x Synthetic Wool Polishing Bonnets
- 1 x Flat Sponge
- 1 x Sherpa Polishing Bonnet
- 1 x Non-Woven Fabric Polishing Bonnet
- 1 x Coral Fleece Polishing Bonnet
You’ll also get an apron, towel, and instruction manual showing you how to use the tool and its attachments. In addition to polishing cars, it’s suitable for bathroom, kitchen, and floor use, along with other areas around the house — although some customers advise against using it for stainless steel appliances.
“I can’t imagine how sore and exhausted I would have been without this help,” raved one shopper. “I can’t wait to see what other wonders they can do in my home.”
“I love the quality of this product,” another shopper added. “Lots of variety and rigidity. Very versatile and stable. I love the performance it offers.”
The Atupen cordless buffer is a promising contender if you’re shopping for a holiday gift for the car enthusiast or home DIYer in your life. It’s returnable up to 90 days from the time of purchase, providing peace of mind just in case.
