A backyard shed is the easiest way to store all of the stuff, from yard tools to grilling gear, that backyards need. Instead of cluttering up the garage or deteriorating while sitting in the elements, ordering and building a shed lets you essentially create an extra room to protect and organize your gear. Right now, at Walmart, the retailer has a great shed on sale for less than half of what it would typically run you.
The Asofer 8-Foot by 6-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale for $180 at Walmart, 55% off its normal $400 price tag and it features durable materials, a thoughtful design, and easy assembly.
The thick, galvanized steel plates with anti-UV and waterproof coatings are sturdy and effective, and they’re also a common choice for sheds of this type (hard plastic resin is the other). The slanted roof (to slough off precipitation) and built-in vents are also common features that ensure the interior doesn’t get too hot or humid in the summer time.
The features that make this shed less ordinary are the sliding doors and the very clever light transmitting panel running just under the front roof, allowing sunlight to light up the interior of the shed without exposing its contents to UV damage. And as for security, the screws have protective covers (that discourage nefarious disassembly) and the doors are easily lockable with the padlock of your choice. And where other sheds can take hours to put together, the manufacturer says this one can go from being in boxes to storing boxes in just half an hour.
“This product is more durable than other brands and will stand up to the weather year after year,” one shopper wrote, cautioning against cheaper but flimsier options. They also wrote that “it can be easily assembled in 15 minutes,” which is incredibly fast for a product like this.
Another customer loved the “excellent storage space” created by this shed, which is “sturdy” as well as “nice looking and waterproof.” They “would definitely buy again.”
