Whether it’s hot, stale air, chemical fumes, or some combination lurking in your garage, basement, workshop, or home gym an industrial fan is the solution. They’re powerful enough to circulate thousands of cubic feet of air per minute, ensuring that your working environs are as pleasant and safe as possible. Right now, Amazon has a “serious” industrial floor fan on sale with a big discount, making now a great time to upgrade.
The Air Choice 30-Inch High Velocity Industrial Fan is on sale for $150 at Amazon, 40% off its normal $250 price tag. It comes in a single colorway, black, and does the big things right (namely push a lot of air around very quickly) with little touches that make a real difference.
Rare DealAt the heart of this fan is a 550W full copper motor, a choice of material that belies how good this fan is. Copper motors offer superior conductivity of both electricity and heat, so they’re more efficient and durable compared to cheaper aluminium motors. It’s the kind of choice you see throughout this fan, from the heavy-duty all-metal construction — powder-coated steel housing, aluminium blades, reinforced triangular steel base —all supporting a machine that can circulate up to 14,000 cubic feet of air per minute, with a maximum wind speed of 27 feet per second and rotation speed of 1,200 RPM. It’s tough enough for industrial environments, in other words, while also having thoughtful touches like large wheels for smooth rolling, tool-free assembly, non-slip foot pads, and 360 degrees of tilt.
One shopper wrote that “the metal build feels solid, and the design is simple but sturdy.” It’s a “nice fan” to have on hand. Another came up with a novel use, calling this fan “fantastic to use outdoors to keep mosquitoes from landing on you.”
Other customers variously wrote that this “serious fan” offers “outstanding durability.” Its all-metal construction is great, making this a “super nice fan that moves plenty of air.”
