With how many things we’re all plugging in these days, portable generators are among the most practical tools for anyone who needs reliable power on demand. Whether you’re keeping appliances running during a power outage, running tools on a jobsite, or powering a camper on a weekend getaway, a good, powerful generator can be an indispensable part of your setup. Gas-powered generators are especially popular because they can deliver high output while remaining easy to refuel and transport when needed.
With this flash deal at Walmart, you can get the Aceup Energy 4,000-Watt Portable Gas Generator, for just $389, and it’s a compact yet powerful solution for home, work, or travel. It’s powered by a 149cc four-stroke engine that produces 4,000 peak watts and 3,200 running watts, which is enough to handle everything from power tools to RV air conditioners. Despite its power, it runs relatively quietly at just 55 decibels and weighs only 50.7 pounds. A full tank of gas provides up to five hours of runtime at half load, making it a good option for short- or medium-duration use.

This generator includes a 120V AC outlet, a 12V DC outlet, and a USB port, supporting a range of devices and small appliances. It’s also parallel-ready, allowing you to connect two units for double the power output. A smart display monitors voltage, frequency, and runtime, while the integrated eco mode conserves fuel during lighter loads. Its fully enclosed design reduces noise, and the 5-in-1 control knob simplifies operation by combining fuel, choke, and power controls in one easy-to-use setup. Just fill it up with gas and this thing is ready to fire up right out of the box.
One satisfied shopper commented, “Great generator. We used it for a week straight running our camper A/C in 100 degree heat, so we put it through its paces and it performed great.”
“Great generator so far,” echoed a second reviewer. “[It] always starts on one or two pulls and runs everything I need it to. Light and easy to move. The best part is it’s quiet!”
