Overview
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 mid-engined supercar takes the proven C8 formula and sharpens it into something far more serious. Its centerpiece is the LT6, a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank V8 that makes 670 horsepower and sends power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic.Â
Chevrolet backs up the exotic engine with real pace, too, as the Z06 coupe hits 60 mph in 2.6 seconds in instrumented testing. Coupe and convertible body styles are both on offer, and buyers can choose from 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ trims.

What’s New for 2025
Changes for the 2025 Corvette Z06 are mostly cosmetic and customization-focused, but there are enough of them to matter on a car like this. Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic (below left) returns after three years, while Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic (below center) and Hysteria Purple Metallic (above) join the palette as new colors.
A Habanero interior becomes optional, blue stitching can now be paired with the black interior, Velocity Yellow joins the brake calliper color menu (below right), and a new 10-spoke wheel arrives in four finishes. A leather steering wheel airbag cover is also now standard, and you can get blue stitching for the black interior.

Exterior
The Z06 looks more aggressive than the standard Corvette because it is. Larger air intakes help feed the high-revving V8, and the bodywork is shaped around real aerodynamic needs rather than just visual drama. Chevrolet also offers optional carbon-fiber wheels and an available Carbon Aero setup for buyers who want more track-focused hardware.
Even in base form, the Z06 looks planted and purposeful, while the convertible keeps the same exotic silhouette with a power-folding hardtop. The optional Z07 package pushes things further with stickier tires, upgraded brakes, and more serious aero parts for drivers who plan to spend time on a road course.

Interior
Inside, the Z06 stays true to the C8 layout with a cockpit that is tightly focused on the driver. A 12.0-inch reconfigurable gauge display sits ahead of the squared-off steering wheel, while an 8.0-inch touchscreen angles toward the driver. The cabin uses leather, metal trim, and sueded materials, and the design still features the tall spine of climate controls that separates the driver and passenger.
The cabin also remains more usable than many exotic alternatives. The coupe’s removable roof panel stores in the rear cargo area, and the Corvette’s two trunk spaces provide a combined 12.6 cubic feet of storage (10.6 cu-ft for the trunk and 2.0 cu-ft for the frunk). At the upper end of the trim ladder, the top interior package adds more leather coverage and carbon-fiber trim for a richer look and feel.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Spectacular 670-hp flat-plane-crank V8
- Supercar performance for the money
- Legitimately usable for daily driving
Cons:
- Fuel economy is predictably poor
- Visibility remains compromised
- Upper trims get expensive quickly
Verdict
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 still feels like one of the great performance bargains on the market, even at a six-figure price. The LT6 is the reason people show up, and it delivers with the kind of throttle response, sound, and rev-happy character that separates this car from turbocharged rivals.Â
The rest of the package holds up its end too, with sharp chassis tuning, huge grip, and enough day-to-day civility to keep the Z06 from feeling like a special-occasion machine only. If your priority is raw engagement and exotic-car pace without exotic-car money, this is still one of the smartest ways to spend it.
