Overview
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is Cadillac’s flagship SUV, combining traditional body-on-frame strength with modern design and impressive levels of technology. Offered in both standard-length and extended Escalade ESV forms, it seats up to eight passengers and delivers serious towing capability alongside a thoroughly high-tech cabin. Power comes from a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 in most trims, while the Escalade-V raises the stakes with a supercharged version of that engine. Rear-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and four-wheel drive is optional on most trims and standard on the V-Series.

What’s New for 2025
For 2025, the Escalade receives a comprehensive refresh inside and out. The most dramatic change is a new curved, pillar-to-pillar 55-inch display that spans the dashboard, integrating the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into one sweeping screen. The interface supports Google built-in functionality and enhanced connectivity features. Two new interior color schemes – Sheer Gray and Renaissance Red – debut, alongside refreshed cabin materials.
Exterior styling sees updates as well, including revised front-end design elements with a larger grille and slimmer lighting elements. New wheel designs, including optional 24-inch wheels, expand customization options. Aegean Silver, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic are added to the paint palette. The diesel engine option is no longer offered for 2025, leaving the 6.2-liter V8 and the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 in the Escalade-V as the sole powertrains.

Exterior
The Cadillac Escalade’s proportions immediately set it apart. In standard-wheelbase form, it measures 211.9 inches long, 81.1 inches wide without mirrors, and 76.7 inches tall, riding on a 120.9-inch wheelbase. Those dimensions give it an undeniable road presence while maximizing interior space. The ESV is even bigger: 227 inches long on a 134.1-inch wheelbase.
Up front, the refreshed grille and lighting elements create a sharper, more contemporary look. Vertical lighting elements frame the fascia, and available illuminated grille accents add a dramatic touch at night. Standard 22-inch wheels fill the arches, while optional 24-inch wheels do a great job of butching up the SUV’s stance.
Despite its size, the Cadillac Escalade luxury full-size SUV’s design remains clean and cohesive. The long, upright profile underscores its utility, while sculpted surfaces and crisp detailing reinforce its luxury positioning. There’s no denying just how substantial it is in the flesh, and that’s a big part of its appeal.

Interior
Inside, the Escalade focuses on technology and comfort in equal measure. The new 55-inch curved display dominates the dashboard, combining driver information and infotainment into a single, high-resolution interface. Wireless smartphone integration, advanced navigation, and optional ‘Super Cruise’ hands-free driver assistance technology further elevate the experience.
Seating comfort is a major highlight. Front headroom measures 40.4 inches with 44.5 inches of legroom, while second-row passengers benefit from 37.5 inches of headroom and 41.7 inches of legroom. Shoulder room measures 65.5 inches up front and 64.2 inches in the second row, ensuring ample space across all seating positions.
Cargo capacity is strong for the class. With all seats in place, even the regular Escalade offers 25.5 cubic feet of space. Fold the second and third rows, and the maximum cargo capacity expands to 121.0 cubic feet. For the ESV, these numbers balloon to 41.5 and 142.8 cu-ft, respectively. High-quality materials, available semi-aniline leather in Platinum trims, and premium audio systems round out a cabin that feels both expansive and refined.
