Overview
The 2025 Bentley Continental GT is a luxury sports coupe/convertible that enters a new chapter without changing the basic mission that made it famous. It’s still a two-door grand tourer aimed at buyers who want serious speed wrapped in old-school luxury, and it is still offered as a hardtop GT coupe and a soft-top GTC convertible. For 2025, Bentley gives it a styling refresh and swaps the old W12 for a new plug-in-hybrid V8 that brings even more power to the party.
At launch, the U.S. lineup centers on four trims: GT Speed, GT Mulliner, GTC Speed, and GTC Mulliner, followed by the rest of the range. In Speed form, the new hybrid system makes 771 horsepower and sends it through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive. The result is a car that still majors in quiet, long-distance comfort but now hits with even harder acceleration.
What’s New for 2025
The big story is the move to Bentley’s new plug-in-hybrid era. For 2025, the Continental GT gets updated exterior styling, a new electrical architecture, a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 PHEV setup for the GT Speed, a 25.9-kWh battery, retuned 48-volt electric anti-roll control and rear-wheel steering, and upgraded dual-valve dampers. The result is not a reinvention so much as a careful evolution of a car that already knew exactly what it wanted to be.Â
Exterior
Bentley doesn’t blow up the Continental GT’s shape for 2025. The long hood, broad haunches, and low roofline remain, but the details are sharper. The front end now uses single headlights instead of the old twin-light look, which gives the car a cleaner and more modern face while still reading instantly as a Bentley.Â
Speed models lean into a darker, more purposeful look with dark-tint exterior trim, a dark matrix grille, smoked rear lights, and a body-colored styling package. Mulliner models go the other way, leaning harder into chrome, jewelry-like detailing, and a more formal sense of occasion.

Interior
Inside, the Continental GT remains exactly what buyers expect from Bentley: richly trimmed, heavily padded, and deeply customizable. The cabin is lined with leather, wood, and metal, and the front seats are 20-way adjustable and available with massage and automatic climate functions. Rear-seat room is still more occasional than generous, but this is a grand tourer, not a family shuttle.Â
The rotating 12.3-inch display remains one of the cabin’s signature tricks, letting the dashboard show either the touchscreen, a veneer panel, or a trio of analog gauges. Buyers can also choose from multiple audio upgrades, including a Naim system for those who want the stereo to hit almost as hard as the drivetrain.

Price Range and Best Value
| Trim | MSRP |
| GT A Convertible AWD | $280,600 |
| GT Black Edition Coupe AWD | $292,800 |
| GT Speed Coupe AWD | $302,100 |
| GT Black Edition Convertible AWD | $319,400 |
| GT Mulliner Coupe AWD | $326,800 |
| GTC Speed Convertible AWD | $332,200 |
| GTC Mulliner Convertible AWD | $359,400 |
The 2025 Bentley Continental GT’s price range spans seven main trims, but the GT Speed is the best value because it gives you the full 771-hp plug-in-hybrid powertrain, the more aggressive Speed-specific exterior treatment, and the key chassis hardware that defines this new generation, all while undercutting the Mulliner models by a meaningful amount. The Mulliner cars are more lavish and more exclusive, but the Speed already lands at the sweet spot where the performance, features, and price make the most sense.Â

Pros and Cons
Pros:Â
- Monumentally strong 771-hp plug-in-hybrid powertrain
- Cabin craftsmanship and material quality feel worthy of the price
- Still delivers the quiet, long-leg touring manners expected of a Bentley
- Speed trim blends performance hardware and visual attitude well
Cons:Â
- Mass is impossible to ignore when pushed hard
- Rear seats remain tight for full-size adults
- Trunk space is modest for a grand tourer
- Options and bespoke extras can push the price skyward quickly
Verdict
The 2025 Bentley Continental GT does exactly what a modern Bentley should do. It accepts electrification without turning into a science project, and it uses hybrid power to become even quicker without losing the effortless character that defines the nameplate.Â
The cabin is still sumptuous, the road presence is still immense, and the Speed trim in particular feels like the right expression of the formula. This isn’t a bargain, obviously, but among ultra-luxury grand tourers, it remains one of the most complete and convincing choices on the road.Â
