It's been a big week for Porsche. We finally got all the details on the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Today, the automaker finally revealed some details on the next-generation 911, the 992 generation. Not much was revealed beyond a few exterior images and the promise of more tech and eventual electrification. Thankfully we have a new batch of spy photos to fill out some of the details.

This is our second good look at the new 911's interior. A bit more of the camouflage was revealed, showing off more of the infotainment screen and the passenger side of the dashboard. As we saw before, the 992 will get a new instrument cluster that features an analog tach flanked by digital displays. The infotainment screen looks to be about twice as wide as the current model. It also looks like it's displaying an updated interface.

The vents now sit below the infotainment screen, and most of the buttons have moved from the dash to the center console. We're quite happy to see that the 992 will retain a manual transmission, though that was never really in doubt. It also looks like Porsche finally put a cupholder in the center. Americans thank you.

We still don't know what's resting out back, but we doubt it will be anything besides a turbocharged flat-six. Now that Porsche has made an official announcement, look for more details soon.
