Forza Motorsport 5 to get Limited Edition at launch

Really, we couldn't be more excited for Forza Motorsport 5. The XBox One exclusive already looks spectacular, but with this news of a limited edition of the game, we're even more excited. Forza Motorsport 5 Limited Edition will cost $79.99 when it arrives in stores, which is about $20 more than the regular game, according to Motorworld Hype. Unlike in some premium editions, though, this will be $20 that's well spent.

It includes some lackluster physical gifts, like stickers and such, but the in-game content makes it totally worthwhile. Buyers will have immediate access to 13 ultra-desirable cars as part of the Limited Edition Car Pack, Forza Motorsports 5 VIP Car Pack and Day One Car Pack. That means early access to the McLaren P1, SRT Viper GTS, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, and Mazda 787B racer, among others. It's unclear if these will be released as DLC later on, so if you're really aching to get any of the thirteen cars on the list, you'd better act fast.

If you're still balking at the price, the premium version comes with VIP membership in Forza 5's online community, which will net gamers invites to special events, extra rewards for multi-player, and the occasional gift car from Forza developers, Turn 10. Finally, to offset the price even further, players will get 1,250 "car tokens" that can be used to purchase any car in the game, which are valued at about $10.

Pre-orders are going on now. You can get in line right behind us.
