Car-shopping site for gay buyers launched

Put this one in the category of Blog Posts I Will Probably Regret. This weekend, Gaywheels.com will launch as the first automotive website targeted at gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) buyers. The site is said to provide a "gay-friendly" way to shop for cars, eventually linking users to "progressive" manufacturers, dealers, and insurance companies that offer domestic-partner benefits to their employees. According to founder Joe LaMuraglia71% of GLBT consumers say that it's important to spend their money with companies that offer such benefits. The site also offers reviews, with the first one being for - I'm not making this up - the 2005 VW Jetta.
