If you think about it, 205 supercharged horsepower would be nothing to cough at in a small car. On a motorcycle it's positively ridiculous, but that's just what Kawasaki squeezed out of the new Ninja H2.

Jay Leno was among the first to check out the new forced-induction superbike – and its even more powerful track counterpart – late last year, and now he's invited the Japanese manufacturer back to his garage for a longer encounter.

This time, Jay lines up a couple of original H2s to put the new one in context and show us what it's like to sample the fastest bikes available today and back in the 1970s. Crank your speakers to hear the sound of a supercharged superbike with an impeller that spools up higher than the speed of sound.
