A Pagani Zonda takes on Eiger Nordwand in the rain – Click above to watch video after the jump

Somewhere out there on a secluded hog farm, an adorable baby piglet was just born with butterfly wings. A rash of new Gran Turismo 5 gameplay videos have made their way to the information super highway, including a full clip of the racing simulator's seven-minute introduction video. Make sure you've got plenty of break time saved up before diving into that particular gem.

The other clips focus on racing in the rain around Eiger Nordwand and darting through Tsukaba Circuit. It's difficult to tell just how much the graphics have improved over what we've seen of the game in the past thanks to the shaky-hand-cam-on-TV-screen action in each of the videos, but hey, we'll take what we can get.

Knowing that there are some lucky jokers out there playing the game right now almost takes the sting out of the fact that we were supposed to have GT5 in our hands at the beginning of this month. Almost. Hit the jump to check out the action for yourself.

IDC HOW LONG IT TAKES ! I'll wait foreverrrr for this game. Its just so much win... the longer they take to release it the better they can make it and more development goes into it... plus the PS3 gets cheaper too

There are videos of how the head tracking works on youtube. It's pretty sweet. You just need a Playstation Eye pointed at your face.

Seriously? if you are not joking then that would be sweet. I'm gonna see if it can find said videos

        You better not be joking!!!

I can't believe that the last time I wanted a game this badly was...GT3!
What is holding up this game, does anyone know?

The only video I could see was the rain video. I think the weather modeling is incredible in that clip. The only thing I would improve would be to show spray on the windshield when you are following cars.

But other than that the rain looks pretty real. It even changes direction when it's running on the windshield when the car changes direction.

That's the most realistic game I have ever seen...

I actually got a PS3 and Logitech G27, just for GT5. So, yes, you should consider buying a PS3, just for this game, is well worth it.
maybe not worth it, it might be a great game, but if you haven't got a ps3 and have a box, just buy forza3.

Looks cool but the rain effects look lame compared to the rain effects in Formula 1 2010. I don't if it is the camera the guy used or what but the graphics do look old. Dirt 2 in full HD on the pc puts this game to shame as far as graphics and there wasn't damage to the cars either.

Looks like the intro video is off of YouTube already....BOO!
