If you want to buy a used Crown Victoria taxi in New York city, it'll cost you about $805,000. That's $5,000 for the car and another $800,000 for the medallion. But when it comes to taxis (and almost everything else) New York is generally the exception to the rule – unless you're in Stuttgart and you're hailing the Autobild TV taxi.

The German auto rag apparently commissioned a $132,000 Porsche Panamera Turbo as its high-end taxi of choice, and customers were the ones who got more than they paid for. Hit the jump to watch the taxi-goers as they receive first-hand knowledge of the raw power of the boosted Panamera. Unfortunately the audio is 99 percent German, so all we could do is watch.

At least it's sort of flesh-colored. That's an.... no, that's not an improvement.

If Yellow Cab in San Francisco were to use a Panamera Turbo they could get lost quicker. On the other hand if the rides were quicker I wouldn't have to listen as long to a burned-out 60's casualty telling me how the city has "changed man, people are more selfish now" even though he lives in a $400/month rent controlled apartment (which I subsidize with my massive rent), is collecting disability (which I pay for with my massive taxes), and can buy as many Summer of Love Revival DVDs as he wants (courtesy of my massive tip), that even though a) I've had to listen to his crap for twenty minutes, b) I've had to suffer his random braking for twenty minutes, c) I've had to listen to KFOG at top volume for twenty minutes, he still looks at me like he's disgusted with the 30% tip I've just put in his sweaty hands. Hippies, when will they just....fade away?

      Just sayin'.

Tell us how you *really* feel...

Too funny, and schade (too bad) it only lasted 3 days.

You don't miss too much without a translation. The other Taxi drivers were intrigued by the car, but then started whining about how impractical it was with high fuel consumption and no luggage room.

Besides, the Slovaks are speaking English...

Wouldn't this qualify as a Limo?
I think a better limo would be that Maybach or a AMG S-class
