Wagoner always was irrelevant, the man was a dumbass to put it mildly. Almost anyone who wasn't a GM groupie knew that. Plus he was a criminal, making 17+ million dollars + 20 Golden Parashute.............all that for killing a company.
Lutz was old and senile, but he has done a lot of good for GM. Lutz just wasn't smart enough to understand that every time he opened his mouth he cost GM future sales and image.

The 20 million was his "retirement" pension, which will be negated when GM gets to addressing it in bankruptcy.

To be fair to Wagonner (not that he deserves it) the "17 million" in compensation was just a few million a year (not that he earned it) and the rest (read most) was in stock. Guess how much the stock is worth now?

Letterman ceased being funny around 1985...

Regardless of what you think of the man (I didn't vote for him either), you should still hold respect for the office. Anyway you look at it, it's still a hot seat and it isn't likely that any of us would really handle it all better.

EXP I would, first i would not hire criminals who do not pay taxes, second i would not give bailouts, those two alone would be a huge improvement over Obama.
Also i would not have launched American Apology tour that he has launched.

Amen to what Sea Urchin said!

I have strong feelings against Obama and he has already done some shockingly bad things in just 6 months.
But I have to agree with others and not call him a POS. As bad as things will get with Obama, I won't lower myself to the same tactics used by the left against President Bush such as the total disrespect of the office and childish name calling.

Thanks for the props to new car salespeople. Nobody wants to pay for anything right now.
