Auto April Fools' Round Up
Auto April Fools Round Up – Click above to start
This week has been no laughing matter for the auto industry, with President Obama and his Auto Task Force outright rejecting the restructuring plans of General Motors and Chrysler and giving the two ailing automakers new deadlines and ultimatums. Low sales, laid off workers and even an ousted CEO, however, can't put a damper on April Fools' Day, which just happens to occur this year in the midst of some very unfunny stuff.
Because there's so much real news to cover this week, we decided not to report on every auto-related April Fools' joke out there and rather compile them in this handy dandy Round Up. Click below to see what tomfoolery we found today and let us know of any others we may have missed in the comments.

I have a small fleet of japanese cars. I have driven a prius for years and love it What would i buy from GM or Ford? I would buy a plug - in hybrid that could also serve as a source of electricity in the event of a power outage. A must have

The Nissan Altima SE-R wasn't bad, and the Hyundai i10 Popemobile was pretty good, but the other ones were either lame or overdone. :(
