Without any actual product to reveal today at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show, General Motors spent its time on the soap box making sure its heavy investment in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen pays off. As we've shown you, GM revealed the Corvette Centennial Concept that will play Sideswipe, as well as Jolt the Volt, Skids the Beat and Mudflap the Trax. During the press conference, GM also displayed new footage of the entire AUTOBOTS crew, old and new, out rolling in vehicle form. Follow the jump to view this never-before-seen footage and marvel at the power of a two-hour informercial directed by Michael Bay.

That Corvettte would be awesome if they got rid of that grille. This is what the ZR1 should've been...

That was dailies of the cars edited together into a car reel it seems.

I love the Volt car, those rear wheel fender archs are so sexy.

Where's Ratchet from the first one? I thought only Jazz died.....

I really hate how [GM] is basically buying off this movie with their car showcases in the movie.

It's like FORD with Knight Rider.

      ALL OVER AGAIN.

I really, really hope that that wasn't actual movie footage.
It was just clips of the movie pasted together of the Chevrolets driving around for use on the screens above the display at the show. Clearly made for a loop to run 24/7 at the show.

Since I am not 12 years old, I never watched the transformers movie. I dont get it.
You may not be 12 years old, but you are certainly the title holder for "Douchebag comment of the day!"
Just admit it, you're a closet Transformers fan. Why else would you bother to click on a story that you supposedly care nothing about, then feel the need to tell us all how you "don't get it". if you really don't get it, then why even bother to comment.

It's a nostalgia thing. I am 34 years old, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the first movie with my daughter. Not because I thought it had a great plot, but because it's a fun movie, and I loved playing with Transformers when I was a kid.

Maybe you didn't have a childhood? Maybe you were robbed of your innocence at an early age. May I suggest therapy? Because, obviously, being a douche on Autoblog is not helping you at all.

"Since I am not 12 years old, I never watched the transformers movie. I dont get it."

...says the only reader on this website that fellates the H2. Yeah' you're way too mature to watch this movie.

@2004m3driver: Fair enough. I don't go to Star Trek conventions either... Ill take Supertroopers ;)
We're all very happy for you. It's a nostalgia thing, but since you never watched the original you probably would never get it anyway. Glad you took the time to point out you haven't participated and don't care, Thanks alot.

Wow, Pokey, only gotta go one page to see YOU being a douchebag, huh?

        http://www.autoblog.com/profile/1388685/page/2/

I love some of the rude tirades, oh and the post "i love cheese". Real quality. Your actually a bigger douche then me, congrats! Oh, I am a tad older, so might be why I didnt get it.

        Hypocrite.

You guys are SOOOOOOOOO easy to rile up and such hypocrites, minus 2004m3driver so far, that it is hilarious.

        Next.

At 00:31...... did they fade to black because the Camaro hit that camel?
Hmmmm... sure hope the cars don't look so ricey on the big screen...
I hope the Volt comes in that color. That looks really nice, so much better than in silver.
      I really like the VOLT!
Never-before-seen because it wasn't worth watching.

I thought I was going to actually see something interesting... not just cars driving.
      Are they really in disguise?

Seriously if I seen that roll-out I'd pay more attention.
