Jeremy Clarkson's salary reportedly "slashed" by BBC
If reports are correct, Clarkson stands to lose up to £500,000 (about $720,000 USD) because of cost cutting by the BBC. While The Beeb is honoring all current contracts, the UK's public broadcaster – and the world's largest – is looking to save £20 million ($29M) by putting salaries on a diet. Anyone making more than £100,000 per year ($144k) will get a 25% pay cut when their contract is renewed.
