Snap-On introduces Limited Edition Nissan GT-R Toolbox

Click above for gallery of the Snap-On Limited Edition Nissan GT-R Toolbox
The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday for its reputation as the best time for early Christmas shoppers to find deals. If you're one of those people, you're no doubt trying to think of what to buy your spouse or friend who has everything. If that person truly does have everything, that means there's a Nissan GT-R sitting in their garage, and the only thing missing is a Limited Edition Nissan GT-R Toolbox from Snap-On. While we don't yet know the price of this collector's storage box, we do know that it will be made available only to GT-R owners and sold exclusively through certified GT-R dealerships. Only 635 are available, and each comes with Nissan GT-R graphics and a custom-etched name plate in addition to all the standard Snap-On goodness one gets with these stainless steel toolboxes. Check out the gallery below for the official flyer that includes specs and features.

Doesn't Nissan not want owners to tinker with the cars? The irony of a GT-R toolbox :P

Warning: warranty on the tool box is voided if the drawers are opened too quickly and too often.

I'm an American and i think graffics on your workshop tool box is a stupid and pointless idea. This box (if actually used) is going to get beat up and scratched and banged and everything else.
If you have the car, you don't need pictures of it on your work space.

Nah, it's the return of the hakosuka!
But this would look mad next to my ZR1 and 911 Turbo. XD

I heard from a Porsche owner that most Porsche clothing is bought by people that wish they owned Porsches.
Will it be the same with GT-R toolboxes?

So you're saying that not only do douchebags drive Porsches, but there also douches who can't afford the car, so they go out and buy the apparel. Astounding.
BigMcLargeHuge 12:45PM (11/25/2008)
Thats what the douchebag told me ;) Just kidding.
Similarly, I wonder if GT-R toolboxes will be hocked on ebay to wanna-bes that do not own one.
Mobius_1 1:50PM (11/25/2008)
That's why I have a Ferrari cap (Because I can't afford Ferraris, though not because I'm a douche... ) :P

I heard, that if you lock the casters, you void the warranty....

Come on, people, don't encourage this kind of behavior...

I would hope anyone who shelled out that much money for a car would have a little more taste than this. I talk about tacky. It's one thing for a Corvette or Mustang person to have vintage signs and materials honor the heritage of their vehicle, but to have such a classless display of the vehicle that is already sitting in your garage is just plain awful.

I heard that there will actually be 2000 available, not 635.... so they lied and exaggeratedthe truth!!

I think most snap on boxes are mild steel or carbon steel as opposed the stainless steel quoted in the text. Often a stainless steel top can be purchased seperately.
