Mystery joker installing funny road signs

Seems like everyone enjoyed the post we recently published on funny stop signs, so we went out and found some more news on weird roadside signage. According to the Frankston Leader, a mystery man in Australia has been putting up funny road signs that have some local residents laughing, and others fuming mad. The first three photos in the gallery below show you just how real these fake signs appear, and while two are rather innocent, the first image in the gallery shows a sign of two people copulating in the horizontal position with the word "HUMP" below. It was placed next to a speed bump. The source, of course, quotes a 63-year-old Australian woman who calls the sign "blasphemous" and "obscene". The local government is also not amused, but whoever is putting up these signs usually takes them down before the authorities can do it themselves. Thanks for the tip, Scott!

I know for a fact that I have seen a few of these a LONG time ago. (Especially the "Caution this sign has sharp edges" one) I think this newspaper article is supposed to be a joke.

Apparently, they do call it "speed hump", instead of "speed bump".....

At least around here, the DOT actually has different criteria (size and height) for a speed bump compared to a speed hump. The later is larger, requiring people to slow more. There were several of the Speed Hump signs placed a long a road near a local high school, but kids kept stealing them...

There is a speed hump sign about a half a block before my driveway. It makes a good landmark for giving directions, and always good for a laugh.

I know a couple of those are from the graffiti artist, Banksy. The "Sharp Edges" one and the "Graffiti Removal" one, if I'm not mistaken.

"Give way" I'm assuming is their way of saying "Yield." It's missing an "a" but it's saying "Give away art work."
I love the "touching wire causes instant death" and $200 fine right below it hahahah. People getting mad at this proves some souls just don't have a sense of humor.
