Click above for a high-res gallery of the Spada Codatronca concept. We knew it was true, but we still can't believe it. The
Spada Codatronca is slated for production, with 20 examples due to be built in the near future and priced somewhere north of £200,000. As reported previously, the Dark Knight's weekend driver is packing a supercharged LS7 V8, producing 600 hp in "entry-level" TS guise and can be upgraded to a track-ready version producing 700 hp and dropping 0-60 times to a mind-boggling 2.7 seconds. Unfortunately, we've yet to see any photos of the "production" version that was
unveiled at the Top Marques show this past weekend, so we'll just have to wait and see if the sinister sled makes a successful transition from concept to production.

The front looks like a modern iteration of the stingray corvette. Sexy as hell.
ugg.tryptophan @ Apr 29th 2008 2:19PM
just what i was thinking, instant classic
PauloBecker @ Apr 29th 2008 4:04PM
Yes, I love the front.
But the rear is a design exercise in ugliness.
Duders @ Apr 29th 2008 5:24PM
Definitely. I love the front but cannot stand the rear. The "hips" it seems to have look terrible from the front. And the rear fin thing jutting out ruins the bodys flow.
hydrogenvodka @ Apr 30th 2008 2:08AM
just what i thought, really

That Gamballa Carrera GT is HOT!!!
mk @ Apr 29th 2008 2:26PM
There are some details that are interesting on their own, but overall, this thing is way disjointed, and ugly.
good luck selling that albatross.

A buck-toothed Corvette.

Holy Batman of a mobile!
zamafir @ Apr 29th 2008 2:59PM
i like it, it's uglier then the murci but also looks cohesive enough to stand on it's own, and the interior’s pretty nice to boot. bring it, esp if the numbers are right.
Will Design for Food @ Apr 29th 2008 4:47PM
Hmm...love the front, absolutely hate the station wagon-esque back. Now if they were to pinch the back in (to reduce the station wagon likeness) this would be one nice looking car.
I wish them well though.
rouse42 @ Apr 29th 2008 6:37PM
i see some Bat Mobile mixed with some Stingray.
Smeagle @ Apr 29th 2008 7:21PM
Performance aside, I just do not see the appeal of this car. It just doesn't work for me. It is unique though

a little bit of a futuristic stingray front-end with a bit of mark II colonial viper in the read-end.
