Nihon Car drives the Impreza WRX STi Spec C Type RA-R
The guys who run Nihon Car (née Nihon Car & Bike) were able to get seat time in Subaru's latest limited-edition street-legal rally car, the Impreza WRX STI Type RA-R. Only 300 of the backroads bombers are being produced, and they're only being sold in Japan. Fortunately, the boys at Nihon are there to bring the goods to us Western folk via the Internet.
Their video review of the car is embedded after the jump. and hearing the RA-R's WRC-style exhaust note made us want to dial up Shatner for help in Pricelining our way over to Japan, pronto. Alas, that's not in the cards, so we'll live vicariously through Nihon Car. Their full review is here, and they have a photo gallery of their yellow tester that's car porn of the first order. Highly recommended.

I hope the Subaru WRX STi spec C TYPE RA-R will be available here. The color on the Subaru WRX STi spec C TYPE RA-R is really nice to.

I want that stuff on my Legacy GT...
I'll take that engine's respiratory system applied to my 2.5 turbo engine...
The STI suspension bits,
those freakin' HUGE 6 piston brakes with the 114.3 bolt circle
BBS forged wheels.
opened up exhaust system
STI red details (steering wheel stitching, STI badging, etc...)
I hate to think what that stuff would cost at retail parts markup.
Would that make my car an Subaru Legacy GT STI Spec C Type RA-R?
The name is a bit rediculous... but it probably stands for something obscure.

I'm sure the journalist's english is better than my french (and probably my spanish too - I'm a little rusty). I'll take any info on the WRX in whatever language, with or without accent - thanks for the info.
