Gallery: Ladies of the LA Auto Show

Los Angeles puts less emphasis on the ladies (compared to, say, SEMA or VIP) and more focus on the cars, but there were still some stunning sirens around the Convention Center this week. Here is a small sampling, mainly from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and the Redline movie displays. And although we shouldn't have to warn you, if you don't have anything nice to say, please say nothing at all. Models read Autoblog too, after all. Many more on the next page. They are all clickable.

Ok, I'd happily travel down Route 69 with one of those Redline girls...

Funny thing. If Dave Thomas reads this, I've hung out with a few of the MPH Backseat Betty's lately!
Dave would know what/who I'm talking about!
Oh and, the NAIAS women are gorgeous. I'll have my camera handy come press days!

Where are the hot guys?! Not everyone attending/viewing the show is a heterosexual male. Some smart car company will give the rest of us something to look at one day. Bring on the studmuffins!

The Redline girls weren't all that: they were way too tall and skinny when I saw them in person. Sad story: one of the pretty girls handing out posters for a tuner dropped them. Everyone just stood around and did nothing while she struggled to pick up the mess. Most of the gals were disappointments, though.

"Models read Autoblog too, after all."
Don't be silly, models can't read.
I keed! I keed!
Serious question, though: The wrecked Porsche Carrera GT at the Red Line booth: Was it real or was it a fabricated prop?

I found the answer to my question on the Internet Movie Database:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0780595/plotsummary
"'Redline' is an auto/action thriller that features the personal exotic car collection of the producer, real estate investor Daniel Sadek. Sadek who is financing the $26 million movie used his own cars including a Phantom Rolls Royce [sic], Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F430, Ferrari Scaglietti [sic] and two Mercedes [sic] SLR McLarens. Sadek's $200,000 Porsche Carrera GT is actually crashed during one sequence. [So it's a snuff film!]
Summary written by Deidre Woollard [a publicist?]"
The main page for the movie shows that Sadek gets credit for the story, too.

josh,
i never got to hang with the Bettys unfortunately. I don't think there's anything wrong with modern day car pinups when done right. is Picture #10 actually a model or a PR person? Think we'd all get in trouble if PR folks started making these galleries.

Dude! Dominique Swain! Anyone remember her from "Lolita"?
[not as though there's much more to remember her from]
She's all growed up, and twice as nice.
Oh, and wth is up with the Lambo girl on the far left's stance? Sure they have the generic hottie thing going on, but how she stands just makes me laugh each time I look at it.
