Chrysler cusses in never-aired gag ads

Our friends at Jalopnik discovered Chrysler's new online-only ad campaign a few days ago. Now the Jalopnik team has unearthed what is supposedly Chrysler's ad agency, BBDO Detroit, having a little fun with the Folgers coffee takeoff in the originals. We have to say, the originals are attention-getting and original (OK, an original takeoff on an old Folger's ad), but the edgier gag ads do more to stimulate our car-buying gland.

Jane (female) and Max (male) are a sturdy, lively toy dog, playful and gentle. They easily adapt well to any family situation and will enjoy a cuddle in your lap, doing tricks, or fetching a tennis ball. They are an intelligent breed who will make a good family addition. They have a glossy, fine and silky coat,intelligent, confident, affectionate, lively, brave and spirited. They get along with other pets and with kids and would love to play outdoors. Jane and Max are AKC registered, Vet examined, Micro-chipped with a complete pedigree and they have been weaned and deformed with their shots up-to-date. They have all the health records from a reputable certified Vet. They are presently 5.5 inches and would mature to about 6.5 inches and 5lbs. We usually take them for grooming Twice a week. They would come along with their puppy toys and dresses.

We have been raising many baby Hyacinth Macaw and African Grey Parrots for 6 years now and watching them grow still remains an amazing process. All our parrots are home-raised, well tamed with an excellent temperament and have speech capabilities. They have all their health papers up-to-date from a reputable vet and would be accompanied with a health guarantee certificate and a feeding and care manual. We do take pictures of our parrots periodically as they grow and we would recommend the Zupream Formulae for any parrot owner/breeder.

That first one is hillarious. And #2, it's not an advertising ploy or exactly like a beer commercial. It's a spoof on an old Folger's coffee commercial.

This is proof positive that you idiots don't read. Of course it's a spoof on an an old coffee commercial, Autoblog told you that moron! These weren't made by Chrysler, it was the AD AGENCY having fun. Damn I can't believe that you jackasses function in daily life. Whats wrong with a fun commercial poking fun at a competitor? Everyone does it in one way or another. I'm in SoCal and I've never seen this ad, so it must have run in a smaller market or so, BIG DEAL! Tiago is right, this country is getting so f@&%*n uptight. re: petey, what are the massive incentives on the 2007 models? the 200 dealers get for taking them?? mongoloid. What is your definition of huge? I was under the assumptiuon that the major incentives were on 2006 models. The compass had what a 500 tag on it? Huge. Compared to the thoudsands on the 06s.
