As is the case with many uber-exotics, using the term 'road car' is subjective. With the Maserati MC12, that designation is stretched even further. So what's the best venue to showcase the virtues of such a vehicle? None other than the world-famous Hockenheim circuit in Germany.

The Enzo-based, homologation special gives up the goods to those of you with a speed fetish, with plenty of drive time, including a lap of the MC12 with a track map superimposed on the screen, so you can see the setup and execution of every glorious turn.

Dim the lights, crank the volume and enjoy.

It sounds awesome. I thought the coolest part of the video was when the MC12 slowed down from the camera car and then slingshot back past it.

He said the car was very gentle to handle, very neutral, but he had some understeer twice, because the guys from a car mag did their drifting tests or whatever before that and put a lot of dirt on the track.

Well, the guy who drove the car in first place is chief editor of a Germany's main sports-car magazine. Hes used to drive such cars and well... He's not known to be much of a funny guy ;) He just says that the car is very neutral, he jsut ha some understeer twice. But there was dirt on the track. Wel.. Okay, call me crazy, but after driving an amzing car like that, shouldn't the guy at least had a SMALL smile on his face? He looked mad almost... but I have no idea what he said, so maybe something wasn't performing correctly on the car.

What's the camera chase car? It kept up with the Maserati quite well during one shot. From the last clips, it appeared to be a 911. Anyone?

Edo Competition did it again...after they hold the record for the fastest street legal Porsche around the Nuerburgring (996 GT2 RSR)they have made the next mindblowing car..
The driver with the white green blue helmet is Patrick Simon and not Horst von Saurma, Horst made only the little interview sitting in the car saying that he had two times some understeering because some other blocks trained drift and put lot of dirt on the track.

that is the Ring Record(currently beaten by 2 cars Radical/Donkervoort) run of Edo Competitions Porsche GT2 RSR driven by Patrick Simon.
