Spy Shots: 2008 Aston Martin DBS9
Finally, the Aston Martin DBRS9 mules are starting to resemble something James Bond would actually use to carry out international espionage. These new spy shots from Edmunds show the DBRS9, which is based on the standard DB9, with plenty of nipping and tucking going on to give the car a much more aggressive presence, one worthy of the Bond man himself. A pair of creased air inlets flanks a wide lower air intake in the Aston's front fascia, while oversized vents behind the front wheels and an integrated body color diffuser out back make the DBRS9's intentions very clear. All in all it's a wicked look that will compliment the car's supposed 500+ horsepower engine quite nicely.[Source: Straightline Blog]

The obligatory Pontiac reference follows:
Pontiac called. They said Aston Marton could keep all their scoops, strakes and fins. They'ed even through in some plastic if it's needed.

I see some MB McLaren SLR in it without being over the top like the SLR.

While very fat from ugly, it loses something with the addition of the boy-racer tuner crowd body kit. I prefer the lines of the AMV8 Vantage. Not that I'd kick her out of bed for eating crackers...

The rear wheel bulges and fenderline are pure sex. I like it all except the front overhang, which looks too long now that its squared off. That, and the name: now we have DB9, DBR/DBS, DBRS9, DBR9, and DBS9? Or am I making too many variants?

Yeah, this looks awful. Looks very "riced out" if I may say. That looks terrible. I was just thinking yesterday that how classy Austin's look but this just ruined it for me.

It is time for a large capacity V12, dry sump and 90 degree V angle (even firing). Dump the Duratec based engine, not good enough.
If Falconer & TVR can do it, so can Aston Martin.
Ford even did it with the GT90
