BMW M10 supercar from Racing Dynamics: Do they know something that we don't?

Traditionally aftermarket tuners wait until the car is already on the market before they start planning how they're going to tweak it, but Italy's premier BMW tuning house Racing Dynamics is apparently staying ahead of the curve by releasing details of their intended mods for what they believe will be the new BMW M10 supercar.
The Racing Dynamics RS55 Coupe is set to feature a 655-hp V10, which the tuner expects to push the car past a top speed of 215 mph. (They released the picture above together with the ambitious stats.)
We're not sure how they can predict what speed a modified version of a car that doesn't yet exist might be able to reach, but we're looking forward to finding out! Racing Dynamics expects the car to hit the market in 2009.

Wow, an M6 with no back seat, somehow that doesn't add up to M10 to me. This has 155 more hp, but it's a tuner car, so that doesn't leave much of a stock power increase for this BMW above the M6.
This would be a huge betrayal of an important competitive advantage if BMW actually did give Racing Dynamics inside info, so I'm guessing that Racing Dynamics is just making up stuff to get their name posted on auto blogs. Mission accomplished.
I would think BMW needs to go mid engine to justify a two seater positioned above the M6.

Seems like a crock.

They do not know what the definition of 'equal' is.
How much do they stroke the crankshaft?
The maximum input speed for the 7 speed SMG is 8500, and the maximum torque is 550newton meters,406 ft-lbs, the cylinder bore is 92mm, the spacing is 98mm.
Maybe they will retrofit a 6 speed manual?

I agree with #3, the droopy eyes are a turn off, VW, Chrystler adn Subarru is using them now, why not come up with freash headlights?

Is is a 2 seater so that they can use a mid-engine set up. It would fit with their whole ideas concept. I would hate to get my ass handed to me by Lexus or Audi if I were BMW. The Audi R8 and Lexus GTwhatever are going to be better than anything BMW has. BMW has to do something. Benz too. The BMW V10 might be the best engine on the planet, but it has to be put in the right car to be able to fend off the coming onslaught of supercars.

I forgot to mention, this sketch is obviously cab-rearward, front engine. If this was a mid-engine sketch it would make it a bit more likeley that Racing Dynamics somehow got some inside info, but I can't see why BMW would do a front engine car above the M6 with the same V10.

Another hideous car from BMW. No substance and all hype.
Never won a single race on its own in last 50 years in F1. Record in Lemans and indy is equally pathetic.
Relies on media propaganda to fleece money from customers.
Can any sane creature believe the 7-series and 6-series with massive weight under their belly can be sports cars or sports sedans??
But the dishonest people at BMW would raise an army of magazines to serve you just that.
