LG F3000 carphone will drive you mad
LG has decided the world, or at least
Germans, need a cellphone that looks and acts (a little) like a car. Everytime you flip open the LG F3000 it plays the
sound of an engine, which we would love to hear in order to decipher its origin, and an incoming text message to the
phone will prompt it to honk at you.The lines of the F3000 certainly are reminiscent of an automobile. Some say it looks like a Porsche, though we think it looks more like a Jaguar XK.

Definitely XJ220 lines, but a Bentley-ish trim around the camera eye.

I didn't even know this phone was ever released in Germany. To make it worse, some dopeheads' feedbacks sound like they think LG is from Germany; WRONG, it's a South Korean company. This phone was selling like hotcakes in Korea a few years ago. Blame yer ignorance and read newspaper.

No...but I think the Engadget article about this phone mentioned that they were testing it in Germany, among other European locales. I think Siemens is the only major German cell phone manufacturer.
