EICMA concept blends 1938 details with modern, muscular style.

Jay Leno walks away quite impressed after his ride on the Royal Enfield Musket. The modern bikes turns the vintage Bullet into a V-twin, and engineering the conversion is all the work of just one man.

The Border Security Force of India are masters of stacking many people on top of a motorcycle and driving them at moderate speeds. They recently showed off their skills to President Obama and the First Lady during India's Republic Day Parade.

No one can complain that Royal Enfield doesn't make them like they used to. In India, the motorcycle bike manufacturer is still busily cranking out machines just the way it always has, right down to their hand-painted tanks. It's difficult to fathom that once not so long ago, every motorcycle and car on the road was available with hand-painted details.

Royal Enfield has quite a history of producing motorcycles. In fact, pretty much the same motorcycle since 1955 or so, making basic changes along the way along with just a few concessions to modern roadways and rider expectations such as an electric starter and a new five speed gearbox within the last few years. All of that is set to change very soon, though, as the old Bullet with its cast iron cylinder and separate engine and gearbox castings has Jeremy Korzeniewski
