Tougher emissions testing in Europe prompts the switch

This could be the last year to score a Jaguar with the carmaker's 3.0-liter supercharged V6. Autocar reports that Jaguar deep-sixed the XE S and XF S in the UK due to poor sales and difficulty coping with European emissions regulation changes taking place this year. Jaguar has a bunch of projects in the hopper, from the replacements for the XJ sedan and XK coupe/convertible to its very first crossover. But arguably the most important among them is the XE – the British automaker's upcoming new sports sedan.
