Three separate recall campaigns will bring in 104,114 vehicles manufactured by Jaguar Land Rover - the bulk of them Range Rovers recalled for brake issues, with a handful of blinking Jaguar XKs thrown in for good measure.

Jaguar has been on a campaign to replace any and all retro cues with modern ones. Just look at the current XJ and the one it replaced, or the XF and the S-Type that came before it and you'll know what we mean. The one remnant is the XK and its oval grille, in and of itself a throwback to Jags of old (which started to look more like a certain Star Wars alien in above-pictured XKR-S form). Jaguar has announced that it will be recalling 1,989 XK Convertibles produced between October 1, 2010 and August 1, 2013. Model years ranging from 2011 to 2014 are part of the recall.

Jaguar may move the company's XK further upmarket following the introduction of its forthcoming F-Type.
