BMW continues to expand its BMW ConnectedDrive suite of services.
BMW is challenging technological progress against human skill in a new video. The company wants to know if a drift champion can hold a slide more consistently than its own autonomous M235i.
Automakers are always looking to push the boundaries with experimental technology, but BMW seems to be ahead of the curve with respect to autonomous vehicles. Previously, BMW was sticking to closed circuits to show off its TrackTrainer. Now, however, the German automaker is venturing out on to public roads, and it's doing so with an automated 5 Series fitted with advanced ConnectedDrive technology.
For music listeners, streaming music services are becoming much more important. So, of course the automakers want in--after all, more OEMs are turning to technology as a main driver of new customers. BMW, wanting to stay ahead of the curve, just announced that MOG will be making an appearance on their BMW ConnectedDrive vehicles.
