For some time, Audi has teased the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo concept car's silhouette. Today, the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo was unveiled as an actual, functioning vehicle, and it will be used as a "race taxi" at Formula E events.

Audi has announced it will introduce a full-electric four-door GT model in 2020. As Audi outlined its electrified future in a press conference, the German manufacturer mentioned its electric lineup will include special "Audi Sport" performance models. One of the 20 electrified models introduced by 2025 will be an E-Tron GT version that will be produced alongside the E-Tron crossover we've seen up to now.

The Rolex 24 is the first event for the inaugural season of the new United SportsCar Championship series, which merges the old Grand-Am Series with the American Le Mans Series. The new series kicks off January 25.

Loïc Duval, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish took the No. 2 Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro to victory at this weekend's Six Hours of Austin at the Circuit of the Americas, marking the 12th victory for the R18 body and the 100th LMP overall victory for Audi since 2000. The milestone victory also saw a second R18, driven by Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer, take third place.
