The airwaves will be saturated with car shows featuring a three-host format.
Episode #358 of the Autoblog podcast is here, and this week, Dan Roth and Jeff Ross talk about the sights we'll see at the LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show. Dan also had a chance to talk with Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood from Top Gear on History. We start with what's in the garage and finish up with some of your questions, and for those of you who hung with us live on our UStream channel, thanks for taking the time. You can follow along after the jump with our Q&A. Thanks fo
We're set to record Autoblog Podcast #358 tonight, and we'll cover the sights we're anticipating at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show. Plus, Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood of Top Gear on the History Channel took time out to chat with us, too. You can download the podcast to hear those interviews, and in the meantime, check out the topics below, drop us your questions and comments via our Q&A module, and don't forget to subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes if
The Stig makes his return to Top Gear USA on the History Channel tonight, though it looks like the circumstances could be better. The upside is that Rutledge Wood, Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust appear to have built themselves a Road-Warrior-iffic late-1990s Toyota Camry complete with an electric fence. The Stig chases down his prey with, naturally, a Panther. Seems appropriate.
Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood are set to return to our television screens. The trio are back in action for the third season of Top Gear USA, and this time around, they'll be exploring even farther flung destinations. From testing the best college car for a road trip to Mexico to building a machine capable of taking on the apocalypse, the guys have plenty of entertaining stunts planned for the new season. You can check out the first episode of the season tonight at 9:00 PM EST on t
While it still hasn't earned the cult-like following of the original Top Gear (currently aired on the BBC), our own Top Gear USA is getting better and better with each subsequent episode. Rutledge Wood, Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust are developing much-needed chemistry and the show is entertaining (even if you aren't a car guy).
Host Adam Ferrara has confirmed Top Gear USA will be back for a third season. The comedian-turned television personality broke the news during an event in New York City last night, according to Inside Line. The show is slowly gaining momentum in the U.S., and this season saw its best ratings yet. One episode drew an impressive 2.1 million viewers. Of course, that's a small figure compared to the legions who tune in or download the original "Top Gear," but with the U.S. hosts getting more comfort
We record Episode #271 of the Autoblog Podcast tonight, and we'll be joined by Rutledge Wood, Tanner Foust, and Adam Ferrara from the History Channel's Top Gear USA. America's very own version of Top Gear is set to hit airwaves for its second season. A new round of hijinks on the History Channel begins July 24. Seeing as the Top Gear Test Track sits just 15 minutes from your author's house, we thought it might be nice to pop in and pay the guys a visit. We wound up getting more than we bargained for, however, because The Stig was also on set... armed with the keys to a Lotus Evora S.
The Fourth of July is right around the corner, which means fireworks, alcohol-fueled patriotism and dogs hiding under beds. July also holds another day on the calender that's cause for celebration, at least for fans of U.S. Top Gear. Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood are back for season two, which premieres July 24 at 10pm EST on the History Channel.
In an effort to gain some viewership, Top Gear America has teamed up with NASCAR to rename the May 28 Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway the Top Gear 300. To tease season two of the American spinoff of the so-far superior English car show, clips from Top Gear America will be broadcast during the race.
James May hates Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara. Before you Top Gear USA haters get too excited at that last sentence, let us explain further. James May hates the Top Gear USA presenters... because he believes they are destined for greatness.

Top Gear is here in the United States. No, not the Top Gear USA team of Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood but the blokes from the BBC. Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have been spotted driving a trio of excellent exotics in the Blue Ridge section of North Carolina.
