CARB approves Roush's propane-powered Ford F-250 and F-350

In April 2009, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved the Ford F-150 that Roush converted to burn propane for sale in California. This was the last step in allowing the Livonia, MI-based company to sell the trucks in all 50 states. CARB technically only regulates vehicles within its borders, but states like Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and New York fol

Roush engineering building propane-powered Mustang drag racers

Jack Roush is involved in a variety of enterprises, several of which involve building very fast Ford powered vehicles. His Roush Engineering business also does a lot of prototype build and development work for its client companies. Most recently, Roush has been building propane-fueled conversions of Ford F-150 pickup trucks that are especially useful to fleet customers.

Only one ROUSH BLACKJACK Mustang Convertible to be built and auctioned for charity

It's practically a guarantee that if you manage to buy a ROUSH BLACKJACK Mustang Coupe, you'll have an instant collector's item on your hands. Only 100 are scheduled to be produced... well, make that 99. ROUSH has announced that one of the BLACKJACK Mustangs will be a special convertible model with lucky number 13 as its serial number. ROUSH going retro with rear window louvers for Mustang

Let it be decreed henceforth that if you are the owner of a 2005 through 2007 Ford Mustang, you are not cool unless your pony car is sporting official ROUSH rear window louvers. While aftermarket louvers are already available for the new Mustang, none have been designed by Jack Roush himself and engineered by the same team that produced the ROUSH 427R. The official ROUSH louvers are made of heat-treated aluminum

SEMA: ROUSH Reactor Mustang

From concept sketch to reality, we bring you the ROUSH Reactor Mustang. We knew this would be a killer car, but honestly it's even better than we thought in person. The olive drab paint color that covers the car's carbon fiber body panels is a nice detour away from the Highlighter Yellow and Orange colors that so many cars are wearing at SEMA this year. The Ringbrothers who built the car removed the

GT500 owners can push 700 HP with new ROUSHcharger

The Ford GT500 is now the Blue Oval's halo sports car since the GT has driven off into the sunset. It's also the least expensive way to put 500 horsepower from the factory in your garage. Since you saved all that money going for the GT500 instead of the Porsche, Ferrari, or Chevy Corvette Z06, you should have some cash left over for aftermarket performance mods to push the GT500 even further into supercar territory. ROUSH has just announced a new ROUSHcharger (read: supercharger) for the GT500 t

ROUSH Reactor Mustang about to blow up at SEMA

The only thing better than booth babes at the SEMA show in Las Vegas are the cars on which they're leaning. The OEMs along with the aftermarket crowd all populate their displays with the sickest rides imaginable, and we're just starting to get an idea what's in store for us this year. This morning, ROUSH informed us that its booth would be occupied by this car, a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback called "Reactor".

NASCAR-inspired ROUSH 500RC F-150 released

Today ROUSH Performance released a new pickup that's inspired by the company's participation in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the 500RC. It packs a supercharged (or ROUSHcharged) version of Ford's 5.4-liter V8 producing 445 horsepower and 500 ft-lbs. of torque. That's a pretty big bump over the stock motor's 300 horsepower and 365 ft-lbs. of torque, especially considering the engine and the entire truck is covered under a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty from ROUSH.
